Manage skills
Find, inspect, edit, duplicate, archive, restore, and delete skills you are allowed to manage.
Manage personal and organization-scoped skills from MY STUDIO. The available actions depend on the skill state and on whether you own the skill or have the required organization access.
Before you begin
Sign in and open /dashboard/skills, then select MY STUDIO. You need read access to inspect an organization skill, write access to edit it, and delete access to remove it. Owners can perform the corresponding operations on their personal skills.
Find and inspect a skill
Enter part of the skill name in [ SEARCH WORKFLOWS & SKILLS ]. If needed, choose DRAFT, PUBLISHED, or ARCHIVED from the status filter, then select a sort order such as UPDATED · NEWEST or NAME · A-Z.
Use ALL CAPABILITIES, BOUNDED WORKFLOWS, or PROMPT SKILLS to narrow the visible type. The result grid updates to show matching items; No matching items means the active search or filters exclude every available item.
Review the card’s name, purpose, status, current version, version count, and STEP PIPELINE. The Studio classifies an item with more than one allowed tool as a workflow; other items appear as a skill.
For an active item, select [ RUN ] to open its skill page, but do not submit a run if you only need to inspect it. For an archived item, select DETAILS. Select CANVAS when you need to inspect the corresponding agent graph.
On an active card, select EDIT. The EDIT DRAFT page shows the skill name and current draft version. Update only the fields required for your change, then select [ SAVE DRAFT ].
Agent Studio displays Draft saved, reports the saved draft version, and returns to the skill page. Editing a published skill creates a new draft version rather than changing the immutable published version; compare or publish that draft separately.
On the source card, select the control whose accessible title is Duplicate. Use duplication when the new skill should start with the source configuration but follow an independent lifecycle.
Wait for the Skill duplicated confirmation and for the Studio list to refresh. Search the updated list to locate the new item, then open it and change its name, purpose, contracts, or tools before treating it as a distinct capability.
For an active skill that you may need again, select the control titled Archive. In ARCHIVE SKILL, verify the item name and select ARCHIVE.
The confirmation states that the item will be hidden from active lists but preserved. After Skill archived appears, the item leaves the active results. Select ARCHIVE at the top of the Studio to find it, then use [ RESTORE ] if you need to return it to active work.
On an active, non-published, non-archived skill card, select the control titled Delete. Published and archived cards do not expose this delete action in the Studio.
In DELETE SKILL, check the displayed name and the permanent-removal warning. Select DELETE only when you intend to remove the draft. The Skill deleted confirmation appears and the list refreshes without the item.

Access and lifecycle limits
- If a skill does not exist or you cannot read it, Agent Studio shows Skill not found and explains that the item may be unavailable to you.
- Update and delete requests enforce ownership or organization resource access. Lack of access does not reveal a protected skill.
- The Studio delete control is limited to active items that are not published. Use the version lifecycle workflow for published or archived work.
- Duplicate creates a separate skill. Subsequent edits do not modify the source item.
